FIVE TYPE OF CONTEXT CLUES
- definition or synonym clue: is defined, means, is known as., / ( ) [ ] ( : ).
- contrast clues : words that meant opposite, however, on the other hand..
- example clues : for example, such as, like....
- General sense which requires prior knowledge
- Clue from another sentence

- special prints
- repeated words
- heading or title
- mention at the beginning
- main idea must always contain the topic : a word, name, phrase that tells what the paragraph is abt.
- main idea must always make a complete sense by itself
- must b a general sentence that sums up the details in the paragraph.
- add essential information to a sentence in the a paragraph that almost states the main idea.
- combine into a single or two sentence from the paragraph that express the complete main idea
- summarize details into one general sentence
- combine several important ideas into one sentence.
