She stared at the sight of him. Barely knowing this person, she watched him every move. The way he wrinkled his nose as he tried to understand what he was reading, the way his slender fingers reached the edge of the book and flipped it. But what she liked the most is when he smiled all by himself, just simply being amused by what he sees. 

He's interesting, she thought. Maybe she should get to know him a little bit more. Maybe she could learn what amused him that he would smile that way.

She chuckled by herself and stared at the blue sky. 

Yes, she might do that. 

Perhaps, it's worth a try. 

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, enjoying the sounds that surrounded her. 

Someone tapped her shoulder and her eyes met his. 

"Come on, we should get going," he said and flashed her a smile. 

She nodded. "Let's stop by somewhere, I'm hungry."
